What to cook for dinner?
What to do, what to do… is always the thought of the day for me, when it comes to planning dinner. In the morning when I get up, I sometimes think about it, usually it’s around late morning that I start thinking about a plan. What do I need to pick up, do we have this or that at home, is there any chicken in the freezer we could use? Did we have that meal last night or earlier in the week? What will Sam eat… do I feel like Mexican or Italian, American, or Chinese? I remember growing up and coming home from sports practice, sitting on the counter as my Mom prepared a meal. Whatever she fixed usually included homemade tortillas, hamburger meat, papas, and chili (salsa). Actually, that sounds good for tonight– hey thanks Mom! Hey Sam, guess what we’re having for din din tonight?!
